Wishing Fall Could be Like This Every Year!

This fall we've had so many beautiful blue sky days that it feels like summer got extended. I'm all for that if it would mean that winter could be shorter. :-) Both girls played soccer and we were preparing for cold and rainy Saturday mornings, but instead had mostly sunshine. This was the first time our girls played soccer. Hannah got into it and even managed to play goalie. Ava got into it in her own way, which included lots of social time with her buddies Anna and Megan who were on her team. I think she kicked the ball a few times. Her games were very entertaining to watch.

We enjoyed doing our annual fall activities. This time we enjoyed apple picking with my friend Lora and her daughters. Thank you, Lora, for introducing us to one of our new favorite orchards.

I was able to go on a school fieldtrip with each of our girls. What a treat! Ava's class went to a nearby farm for pumpkin picking, a hayride, yummy donuts, animal petting and more. As you can see from the pics below, it was another gorgeous fall day. I also accompanied Hannah's class on a trip downtown to check out Art Prize.

This fall we celebrated 10 years of being cancer free for my mom. Woohoo!!!!! We walked in the Race for the Cure community walk and cheered loudly when we crossed the finish line! We love you, Mom, and are grateful for each and every day with you. You are such a blessing in our lives!
