As we begin a new year, one of my goals is to be more faithful in doing my personal devotions...even when I don't have a lot of time. One of my favorite devotion books is Jesus Calling. The daily devotions are short and sweet but have a powerful message to reflect on throughout the day. I love how the devotions are written from God's perspective based on passages from the Bible. Here is an excerpt of the devotion from yesterday.
"Come to Me with a teachable spirit, eager to be changed. A close walk with Me is a life of continual newness. Do not cling to your old ways as you step into a new year. Instead, seek My face with an open mind, knowing that your journey with Me involves being transformed by the renewing of your mind."
