Race for the Cure

This weekend Hannah and I walked with my mom in our 6th annual Race for the Cure. It was a beautiful day - much better than last year's downpour. We have done the 5K in the past, but since Hannah started joining us a couple of years ago we've been doing the one mile community walk. It was six years ago that my dear mom battled breast cancer. We praise God that she is doing so well and are so thankful she is still here to savor life with us. This year she walked in honor of her "Neland Sisters" - all those at our church who have battled or are battling breast cancer too. Mom, we love you and look forward to walking with you in many more Race for the Cure walks.
