Birthday Blitz

May has been a big birthday month. My college roomie and dear friend, Stacy, turned the Big 4-0! In honor of her birthday I came up with 40 items that remind me of her or represent something from our 22 years of friendship. It was so fun! Just wish I could have delivered the package myself. At least she opened the package while we were on the phone together. Love ya lots, Stacy!

My niece Alissa turned 1 on the same day Stacy turned 40. Mark and Mirsada threw her a big party. She looked adorable, but unfortunately was getting sick. She was a trooper though and was still able to open gifts and enjoy her pretty pink cake. In keeping with Bosnian tradition, as Alissa's Godmother I cut her hair for the first time - just a little bit. We love you, sweet Alissa!

Both of our dad's also celebrated birthdays. Their birthdays are just three days apart. My dad's was on Mother's Day this year. We love you, Dad R. and Dad B.!
