This year, Chinese New Year started on January 23. We were super excited to discover that we would be in Chicago for the New Year because we hoped to catch a parade in Chinatown. Unfortunately, the big parade wasn't happening until the following weekend. We created our own parade in Ava's classroom and enjoyed celebrating the Year of the Dragon with some of our friends. Xīn Nián Kuài Lè!
