We've been home for two days now and are adjusting nicely to life as a family of four. We're still a bit jet lagged but have been able to get some good sleep so that has helped. Doug's mom has stayed with us for the past two nights so that has been very helpful too. It's been fun to see Ava get to know her Nana B.
We are finally able to access our Blog and read all of the wonderful comments people posted. Thank you for your beautiful words and for all of your prayers. We praise God for our healthy and beautiful new daughter, for our safe trip to and from China, for Hannah's adjustment to being a big sister and for good health during our trip - especially for my mom.
There were some days in our adoption journey when it felt like we were never going to have Ava as part of our family, but now when we look at Ava we understand... she was meant to be our daughter and sister but she wasn't ready to join our family until now. "He makes all things beautiful in His time..."
I will try to post some "at home" pics later today. Love to you all.

Ava was chosen by God to be part of your family. So glad you are all home safe and sound. I cannot wait to meet Ava and see you guys again
Love ya, Stacy
Can't wait to come and play with Meili but I'll wait a bit so you can get settled in! It was SO fun to read your blog when you were in China! Made us homesick in some ways.

Glad to hear you have arrived home safely and that everyone is adjusting so well! God is good! We'll give you some time to settle before we stop by. I must tell you that while you were gone each time we passed your house Joshua said, "Hannah . . . China . . . Ava" He loves seeing your blog pictures!
Hello Bakers,
