A Magical Day

Today was such a magical day... definitely a gift! It was so beautiful outside that we met my friend Sarah and her kids, Tyler and Megan, at a playground/park this morning. We savored the warm rays of sunshine as we played, chatted, sipped our yummy coffee drinks (just us moms), and ate our picnic lunch. We had a marvelous time. I can hardly believe it's actually November!

When Ava went down for a nap in the afternoon, Hannah and I went outside to rake leaves and play. Hannah was delighted to be able to wear a tank top and skirt outside in November - she would make that her uniform year round if she could. :-) When Ava woke up she joined us for some outdoor fun. The girls were such good little helpers as we tried to rake up some leaves. In the end, I think we did more playing than working, but isn't that how a magical day in November should be!?
