Shrinky Dinks proved to be a great boredom buster when it was too hot to play outside. The girls thought I was a magician and I had fun reliving my childhood.
Although we don't have our own garden, we've been able to enjoy some yummy veggies from our friends' gardens. There's nothing like munching on fresh, homegrown veggies on a hot summer's day.
Ava doesn't really take "naps" anymore, but this is what sometimes happens when she has quiet time in her room. You know she's tired when she crawls in bed herself and ends up falling asleep. I love finding her this way. :-)
